Los Angeles experienced citywide celebrations after the Los Angeles Dodgers won a nail-biting seven-game World Series championship. Supporters worldwide united with local residents in jubilation, marking the initial time in 25 years that a team has secured consecutive championships.
Victory Parade Attracts Massive Crowds
Los Angeles area events featured a downtown parade on Monday morning, a reserved-seating event at Dodger Stadium, and spontaneous parties across the city.
Online footage depict countless of Angelenos packing city center avenues, many carrying handmade banners and team flags. The squad was seen traveling proudly on a open-top bus through the masses, hoisting the championship trophy proudly.
